Support the Warriors
Though I politically oppose the continued presence of American troops in Iraq, I salute the efforts of every soldier, airman, sailor and Marine in their service of our country. Our nation's history is littered with unpopular decisions by the government in power at the time. It is also blessed with the heroism of those willing to put political and personal opinions aside and commit to answering the call of their country and their Commander-in-Chief, wherever that call may lead. Those willing to make this sacrifice are worthy of our respect during their service and our continued support and recognition of their efforts once that service has ended. Whether or not you support the war, please remember to support the warriors.

Operation USO Care Package The USO provides morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel, representing the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. Because of heightened security, individuals can no longer send letters and packages to "Any Service Member." Operation USO Care Package is approved by the Department of Defense, and provides a safe, easy way for individuals to show their thoughts are with our service members. |
